This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will assist in the technical evaluation of feasibility for battery storage projects (BESS).
• You will plan and develop battery energy storage systems from initial concept to execution, overseeing commissioning and acceptance.
• You will aid in the permitting processes and support grid connection procedures.
• You will contribute to implementation and quality assurance during the project phase, analyze existing systems, and optimize processes.
• You will serve as a liaison to grid operators, authorities, and other internal stakeholders.
• You will assist in preparing measurement concepts for various operating models.
• You must be an enrolled student (m/f/d) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Initial experience in planning and executing energy projects, particularly in battery storage (BESS), is a plus.
• A strong understanding of grid connection planning and applicable standards (experience with VDE AR‑N 4110) is desirable.
• Familiarity with measurement concepts and the energy market/economic contexts, as well as planning and calculation tools, is important.
• You should possess a structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Proficient German language skills are essential.
