Working Capital Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess borrower financial data to pinpoint portfolio risks and suggest actions to the WCF Manager, Credit Administrator, and Banker.

• Compile written analyses that summarize findings and refresh portfolio reporting tools.

• Generate monthly management reports detailing Working Capital Finance commitments, utilization, borrowing base leverage, inventory dependency, and compliance with covenants.

• Collaborate with Bankers and Portfolio Managers to gather necessary financial data.

• Determine borrowers’ credit availability based on financial statements.

• Update lending limits within the loan management system.

• Support the underwriting process for WCF facilities and propose loan structures to minimize risk.

• Order and evaluate collateral field examinations.

• Provide exception reports for borrowers exceeding set availability thresholds.

• Report on portfolio delinquencies and other designated portfolio metrics.

• Oversee loan system data to ensure precise reporting of WCF commitments.

• Detect credit deterioration and aid in formulating action plans for credit improvement or exit strategies.

• Two to four years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.

• Knowledge of accounting principles.

• Comprehension of commercial lending practices.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Effective interpersonal skills.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Project management abilities.

• Capacity to stand and/or sit for extended periods.

• Capability to efficiently access and interpret information from computer screens, documents, and reports.

• Completion of mandatory compliance courses.
