Investment Banking Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create evaluation tasks for AI systems functioning within Fortune 500 enterprise M&A and capital markets environments.

• Design enterprise investment banking scenarios comprising $1B+ M&A transactions, multi-stakeholder deal committees, and intricate capital markets or regulatory review processes.

• Develop tasks related to M&A advisory, equity and debt capital markets, leveraged finance, valuation and financial modeling, as well as pitch/deal execution.

• Formulate deal execution scenarios utilizing Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, and enterprise financial modeling and deal-management tools.

• Implement methodologies such as DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, LBO modeling, and fairness opinion evaluations.

• Generate reference pitch books, valuation models, and narratives suitable for executive or board-level discussions regarding deals.

• Create rubrics that differentiate genuine investment banking insights from generic textbook knowledge or interview preparation recall.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A advisory, capital markets, or leveraged finance at a bulge-bracket bank, elite boutique, or prominent financial institution.

• Direct responsibility for executing Fortune 500-level deals, capital raises, or advisory mandates.

• Proficiency in investment banking tools, valuation techniques, and mechanics of the deal process.

• Familiarity with Fortune 500 board approval processes, SEC and antitrust regulatory reviews, and legal/due diligence protocols.

• Experience using Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, and enterprise financial modeling and deal-management platforms.

• Background in DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and LBO modeling.

• Knowledge of fairness opinion standards.

• Previous experience in authoring rubrics, financial modeling curricula, or pitch book/deal documentation is preferred.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Unable to provide support for H-1B or STEM OPT candidates at this moment.
