This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Analyze mid- and higher-level workers' compensation claims to ascertain the benefits owed;
β’ Ensure the continuous adjudication of claims is aligned with company standards and industry best practices;
β’ Identify subrogation opportunities in claims and negotiate settlements.
β’ Manage workers' compensation claims by determining compensability and benefits for long-term indemnity claims, monitor reserve accuracy, and submit required documentation to state agencies.
β’ Develop and oversee action plans for workers' compensation claims to achieve resolution, coordinate return-to-work initiatives, and authorize claim payments.
β’ Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
β’ Required: Home state license.
β’ Minimum of one (1) year of experience in claims management.
β’ Prior experience in handling Florida medical-only and indemnity claims.
β’ Familiarity with Florida jurisdiction.
