Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster – MO, Lost-Time Experience, FL Jurisdiction, FL Licensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze mid- and higher-level workers' compensation claims to ascertain the benefits owed;

• Ensure the continuous adjudication of claims is aligned with company standards and industry best practices;

• Identify subrogation opportunities in claims and negotiate settlements.

• Manage workers' compensation claims by determining compensability and benefits for long-term indemnity claims, monitor reserve accuracy, and submit required documentation to state agencies.

• Develop and oversee action plans for workers' compensation claims to achieve resolution, coordinate return-to-work initiatives, and authorize claim payments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;

• Required: Home state license.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in claims management.

• Prior experience in handling Florida medical-only and indemnity claims.

• Familiarity with Florida jurisdiction.
