This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of Workday integrations from start to finish, ensuring a reliable data flow and a scalable system design.
• Enhance architectural standards while connecting technical and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate high-quality user experiences through automated testing, reporting, and AI-powered insights.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations utilizing tools like EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and APIs.
• Oversee integrations across payroll, benefits, identity management, finance systems, data warehouses, and various HR platforms.
• Ensure data integrity through transformation logic, mapping, and bulk data operations.
• Monitor integrations, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Create and maintain reporting, data feeds, and pipelines to support HR, Finance, and business intelligence platforms.
• Identify issues proactively using logs, reporting, and automated alerts.
• Serve as a benchmark for integration and data architecture, advocating for best practices in scalability, performance, cost efficiency, and user experience.
• Influence architectural choices that balance cost, performance, and end-user satisfaction.
• Discover and implement automation and AI-enhanced solutions to enhance data quality, anomaly detection, and operational productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to support AI-ready data pipelines.
• Assist in cross-functional testing and validation efforts through automated reporting, data checks, and failure detection.
• Partner with functional teams (e.g., Talent, Payroll, Benefits) to facilitate effective test plans and issue identification.
• Contribute to a superior user experience by ensuring data accuracy and system reliability across workflows.
• Collaborate with Core HCM architects and business process administrators across SKUs, including Talent and Advanced Compensation, to ensure a cohesive, end-to-end system design.
• Convert complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively across HR, IT, Finance, and vendors to align solutions with business requirements.
• Ensure integrations comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Manage secure data transfers and authentication methods across various systems.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Workday integrations and tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services / APIs.
• Experience integrating Workday with systems such as ADP/global payroll vendors, Okta/identity management, Greenhouse/ATS, Benefits Providers (e.g., Navia, Bswift, etc.), and Finance Systems (e.g., Pigment, Netsuite, Zip, Navan, etc.).
• Familiarity with data formats including XML, JSON, CSV.
• Experience with integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs and SFTP.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in data analysis.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts or tools applied to data workflows (e.g., anomaly detection, automation, or data enrichment).
• Background in data validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts as clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying root causes and implementing action plans swiftly and thoughtfully.
• Experience in HR data governance is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled data platforms, pipelines, or analytics tools is a plus.
• Exposure to tools such as Python, dbt, or modern data platforms is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience working with a Workday implementation partner (e.g., Topbloc, Deloitte, Accenture) is a plus.
