Data Engineer – Senior (GCP)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create automated pipelines to seamlessly transfer 100% of the data from the Risk tool into GCP.

• Design and deliver governed views within the Analytics layer (BigQuery), ensuring the integrity and quality of data for downstream usage.

• Implement metrics driven by complex SQL logic and business rules.

• Develop semantic indicators using LLMs via GCP (Vertex AI) for the categorization and analysis of unstructured data.

• Collaborate closely with the software engineering team to ensure that the solution conforms to the company's architectural and security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with GCP, including proficiency in tools like BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Dataplex (for governance).

• Data engineering expertise: advanced skills in SQL and Python for managing large datasets.

• Generative AI experience: practical knowledge in implementing LLM solutions on Google Cloud (e.g., Vertex AI, Model Garden, or API integrations).

• Experience in corporate settings: capability to translate business requirements from Risk/Controls areas into scalable technical solutions.

• Official Google Cloud certifications (Professional Data Engineer or equivalent).

• Previous experience with audit/risk tools such as TeamMate.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices applied to data (DataOps).
