This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric utilizing pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and notebooks.
• Integrate and consolidate data from various enterprise sources (ERP, CRM, APIs) into a centralized Lakehouse platform.
• Create and oversee Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, ensuring data is well-structured, clean, and ready for business use.
• Transform and prepare datasets using SQL and PySpark, guaranteeing high data quality and usability.
• Monitor pipelines and proactively identify and resolve data issues, failures, and anomalies.
• Implement and sustain data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
• Optimize data pipelines and storage for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency (e.g., partitioning, incremental loads, Delta/Parquet).
• Collaborate closely with BI Developers to support reporting, semantic models, and analytics use cases.
• Work with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, standards, and documentation practices.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• More than 5 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric or comparable platforms (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).
• Strong skills in SQL and Python / PySpark.
• Experience in data pipeline development and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Lakehouse architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) and data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI datasets / semantic models and end-to-end BI processes.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and optimization practices.
