Workday Financials Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Accountable for configuring Workday functionalities that support Procure to Pay, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Governance, Expense, Accounts Payable, and associated financial integrations.

• Lead the system design for purchasing, supplier lifecycle management, expense, and payment workflows.

• Collaborate with Accounting and Tax to guarantee proper sales and use tax configuration and compliance within procurement and Accounts Payable processes.

• Work with internal stakeholders to establish deployment expectations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and identifying opportunities for workflow enhancement.

• Convert business requirements into epics, features, and user stories through backlog refinement and prioritization.

• Plan and manage Workday release processes, including testing strategies and deployment coordination.

• Promote continuous improvement by utilizing new Workday features and emerging technologies to boost efficiency and user experience.

• Offer support via ServiceNow, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

• Define deployment expectations and facilitate consistent adoption of system changes.

• Aim for minimal business disruption through prompt issue resolution and effective communication.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through established data maintenance processes and audits.

• Create and maintain process documentation, job aids, and work instructions.

• Assist in meeting audit and compliance requirements through well-documented and repeatable processes.

• Background in a technical support role for Workday Financial systems.
