This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile, +3 more countries.
• We are in search of a creative, technically adept individual who is enthusiastic about crafting outstanding web experiences.
• We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Wix Certified Developer to join our team. In this position, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Wix websites for clients from diverse industries. The ideal candidate should possess experience with Wix Studio, Velo by Wix, custom integrations, responsive web design, and SEO best practices. Additionally, they must be capable of swiftly learning and adhering to each client's design guidelines while delivering polished, user-friendly websites that fulfill both client expectations and business goals.
• Responsibilities may include:
• - Designing, developing, and maintaining custom Wix and Wix Studio websites.
• - Creating new pages and updating existing ones with fresh content and elements while preserving the look and feel of the client’s site.
• - Building responsive, user-friendly websites optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
• - Collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients to produce high-quality websites.
• - Troubleshooting website issues and providing continuous maintenance and support.
• - Optimizing websites for speed, SEO, accessibility, and performance.
• - Ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• - Maintaining brand consistency and user experience across all web properties.
• Wix Certification is mandatory.
• A strong design background and proficiency within the Wix platform.
• Proven experience in developing websites using Wix and Wix Studio.
• Extensive knowledge of Velo by Wix, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and APIs.
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance enhancement.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing Wix website projects is required.
• You will stand out if you have experience with eCommerce website development.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and digital marketing tools.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• This is a contract position, and therefore, you will not qualify for benefits.
• You must be capable of working independently, managing your time efficiently, and consistently meeting deadlines.
• As a contract worker, you will need to provide your own equipment, which includes:
• - A laptop or computer.
• - A secure and reliable internet connection.
• - The following applications, installed on your laptop or computer: Zoom, Gmail, Google Chrome.
