Window & Door Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct warranty field service activities, which include inspecting and repairing window and door products.

• Keep documentation of service actions and ensure records are accurate.

• Create comprehensive service reports accompanied by photographs and detailed descriptions.

• Maintain tools and the service vehicle in good condition.

• Operate the company vehicle in a safe manner.

• Attend and document water tests, diagnose problems, and carry out repairs.

• Adhere to safety regulations and engage in the Accident Prevention Program.

• Organize the schedule for punctual arrivals and task readiness.

• Foster professional relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Travel by plane, car, or other transportation methods as required.

• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members.

• Submit expense reports promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Experience in the production or servicing of vinyl windows and doors is essential.

• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

• Capable of lifting 50–75 lbs., climbing, lifting, pulling, and performing tasks on ladders and scaffolding.

• Computer literacy, including experience with Office 365.

• Reliable, self-driven, and equipped with problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

• Boom lift certification is preferred.

• A background of 3+ years in servicing vinyl windows and doors is preferred.

• Experience in observing and conducting window water tests is preferred.

• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.

• Comfortable working at heights exceeding 50 feet.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and frequent overtime as needed.
