
Weekend Strategic Partnership Specialist – Customer Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.
• Proactively manage and expand the Book of Business within the Strategic Partnership Team.
• Ensure retention metrics are met and customers maintain long-term contracts.
• Identify and generate new opportunities within the existing customer network for additional sites and services.
• Participate in sales meetings and regularly conduct business reviews with Key Accounts.
• Ensure consistent daily use of CRM for tracking customer activities and managing the sales pipeline.
• Utilize customer and prospect CRM management software, updating pertinent information in these systems daily.
• Monitor customer engagement and proactively recommend service modifications or solutions to better align with their needs.
• Serve as an industry expert to guide customers on waste and recycling technology, diversion opportunities, city regulations, and other compliance matters to help achieve waste and recycling objectives.
• Collaborate with the Sustainability department to support customers with complex requirements concerning waste auditing, diversion reporting, and other necessary services.
• Attend and present at client meetings, as well as participate in company events, networking gatherings, or as needed to fulfill duties and manage the customer portfolio.
• Facilitate service requests directly with hauling partners, including but not limited to additional pickups, temporary bins, and roll-off haul requests.
• Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Account Management, procurement negotiations, and/or customer success.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent project execution through effective task prioritization and multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
• Displays a proactive attitude towards not only completing tasks but also taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also achieving independent results.
• A strong understanding of the service industry is preferred.
• Experience with comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or Netsuite is advantageous.
