Web QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and convey comprehensive functional test plans that thoroughly evaluate websites across all major supported web browser platforms.

• Meticulously document identified issues, categorize them by severity, and facilitate their resolution.

• Conduct regression testing to support software releases for customers.

• Integrate automated testing solutions within continuous integration pipelines or their equivalents.

• Oversee, maintain, and manage cloud-based testing solutions.

• Assess system performance to identify bottlenecks.

• Enhance unit, integration, and regression testing coverage.

• Embrace and refine the project's best practices and coding standards.

• Maintain a customer-centric approach to deliver products that prioritize an outstanding customer experience.

• Actively engage in and contribute to improving a mature agile environment.

• Provide support for manual testing as necessary.

• Investigate new methodologies and tools for automated testing.

• Adaptable to work on products designed for a rapidly evolving market.

• Contribute to the development and preservation of high team morale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in automated testing.

• Proven track record of delivering highly effective automated testing solutions utilizing Selenium WebDriver.

• Demonstrated ability to construct automation solutions from the ground up to enhance product quality.

• Development experience with C#.

• Experience in implementing and supporting continuous integration testing solutions.

• Strong foundation and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Capability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
