• Design and maintain bespoke WordPress themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, and reusable templates.

• Create landing pages and website experiences that enhance SEO and Paid Media strategies.

• Enhance website performance, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals metrics.

• Implement analytics, conversion tracking, and measurement solutions.

• Perform QA testing, troubleshoot issues, and conduct ongoing website maintenance.

• Assist in A/B testing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives.

• Develop scalable systems, workflows, and documentation to enhance development efficiency.

• Collaborate across teams including Creative, SEO, Paid Media, and Analytics.

• Over 4 years of advanced experience in WordPress development.

• Proficient front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Experience in crafting custom themes, plugins, and reusable components.

• Understanding of Core Web Vitals, website performance optimization, and accessibility standards.

• Experience in implementing analytics and conversion tracking solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and project management experience.

• Previous experience in agency settings or fast-paced digital environments.

• Bonus Points: Familiarity with frameworks such as Next.js, Astro, Gatsby, Nuxt, or similar.

• Experience in CRO and A/B testing.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.

• Experience mentoring other developers.

• Background in higher education or nonprofit marketing is a plus.
