Software Engineer, Fullstack – UI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive product features utilizing TypeScript, React, and Node.js—from user interface to APIs and production-ready deployments.

• Transform UI/UX designs into precise, accessible, and responsive components, guaranteeing a refined customer experience.

• Create and utilize RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.

• Maintain robust integration, data integrity, and security throughout the application stack.

• Detect and resolve performance, reliability, and user experience challenges, balancing durability with time-to-market while enhancing iteratively.

• Write and sustain various tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) using tools such as Vitest, Mocha/Chai, or Playwright.

• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing to architectural choices and improved engineering practices.

• Take responsibility for deployed code: monitor production performance, investigate issues, and facilitate resolutions.

• Support CI/CD workflows, including automated testing and deployment processes, ensuring reliable and repeatable delivery.

• Clearly communicate trade-offs, design choices, and implementation strategies with team members from diverse technical backgrounds.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) for prototyping, iterating, and expediting delivery.

• Critically assess AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, security, and maintainability.

• Leverage AI to investigate solutions, troubleshoot issues, and enhance developer productivity—while maintaining understanding and ownership.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices regarding AI-assisted engineering within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in developing web applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.

• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving “pixel-perfect” UI (spacing, states, responsiveness, accessibility).

• Familiarity with modern testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha/Chai, Cypress, Playwright).

• Capability to analyze ambiguous challenges, propose solutions, and execute effectively.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills—able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Understanding of system design fundamentals: API design, data modeling, performance, reliability, and security best practices.

• Strong engineering judgment—ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability.

• Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to enhance development.

• Ability to validate, modify, and take ownership of AI-generated outputs (not to rely on them uncritically).

• Comfortable working in an environment where AI is integrated into the development process.

• Bonus Experience: Familiarity with Nest.js and contemporary front-end best practices; experience in AWS environments; experience in developing or integrating AI-powered features or workflows; experience in shaping engineering practices in agile teams.
