This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Transform client briefs into captivating, contemporary website concepts and top-notch visual designs.
• Develop user-friendly UI/UX layouts that correspond with client goals and brand identity.
• Create responsive website designs that deliver an outstanding user experience on all devices.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs align with business and marketing objectives.
• Construct, customize, and manage WordPress websites utilizing Elementor Pro.
• Develop responsive websites with clean, efficient, and maintainable coding practices.
• Design and oversee WooCommerce e-commerce websites.
• Implement custom features using JetEngine (Crocoblock), Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and dynamic content frameworks.
• Set up Custom Post Types, relationships, and dynamic loops.
• Handle website migrations, manage hosting, and configure DNS settings.
• Organize website assets and maintain orderly project documentation.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide continuous website support.
• Ensure websites remain secure, stable, and up-to-date.
• Enhance websites for speed, performance, and overall user experience.
• Apply caching and website optimization techniques.
• Incorporate SEO best practices throughout the website development process.
• Offer assistance for Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace websites as needed.
• Contribute to ongoing website enhancements across various content management systems.
• A robust portfolio showcasing the ability to guide projects from initial design to final website launch.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in web design and WordPress development.
• Advanced proficiency with WordPress and Elementor Pro.
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience in building WooCommerce websites.
• Familiarity with JetEngine (Crocoblock) and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Practical experience in managing website hosting environments, DNS configurations, and site migrations.
• Solid grasp of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, caching, and website performance optimization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines autonomously.
• Experience using Figma.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Background in supporting Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace websites.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript and PHP.
• Experience working in a digital marketing agency setting.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Dropbox.
