This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and establish Eliza's new healthcare practice from the ground up, while consistently enhancing Eliza's delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams of AI Product Managers and Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Develop and promote solutions in partnership with senior healthcare decision-makers: collaborating with CFOs, revenue-cycle, and clinical leaders to identify the issue, outline the project, and secure the engagement — rather than merely advising post-sale.
• Make informed decisions regarding practical AI implementation — determining what should be automated immediately, what requires deeper integration, and where clinical, compliance, and financial risks are present — and convert those insights into clear, persuasive narratives that clients can trust.
• Manage the entire engagement lifecycle from SOW creation to solution delivery: challenge existing practices, experiment boldly, and introduce innovative ideas to complex, real-world healthcare workflows.
• Balance competing priorities across the new healthcare practice and the wider business, while maintaining focus on what is most important.
• Strong credibility in healthcare operations. Over 8 years of experience within complex healthcare implementations for large clients (with at least 2 in a leadership capacity), possessing a comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle management (RCM), claims and denials, and the intricate workflow layer where clinical, financial, and payer systems intersect. You have a practical understanding of how hospitals and insurers function — beyond just the organizational chart.
• Proficiency with Epic. Direct experience with Epic in live environments; certification in Resolute HB/PB and/or Tapestry is a plus. Equivalent expertise in another major EHR/health-system platform will also be considered.
• Proven ability to sell and shape solutions with senior stakeholders. A history of collaborating with senior healthcare figures (CFOs, revenue-cycle, and clinical leaders) to define, develop, and secure projects — taking ownership of the commercial journey from initial discussion to signed agreement, rather than providing advice from the sidelines.
• Sound judgment in practical AI delivery. Strong instincts for selecting the right tools for specific use cases, combined with knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agentic/multi-agent frameworks, and prompt engineering. You can ascertain what can be safely automated today, what necessitates real integration efforts, and where potential risks lie — making those determinations before issues arise.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, regulatory, and data-security standards. Understanding the compliance and data protection challenges of developing solutions in a regulated healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with interoperability. Working knowledge of HL7 / FHIR and the mechanisms by which healthcare data transfers between systems.
• Equity in a seed-stage company on a rapid growth trajectory in one of the most significant technology markets ever established.
• A seat at the table — genuine influence over the development of this company.
• Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives linked to outcomes, including healthcare benefits and retirement investment plans.
• Work-from-home stipend for home office setup.
• The opportunity to tackle truly innovative challenges with healthcare organizations undergoing significant AI transformation.
• A high-caliber team that operates quickly, trusts one another, and is deeply committed to the work.
• Flexibility in your work location and schedule, with opportunities for on-site client engagement when it adds value.
