📋 Description

• Develop and enhance a high-performing engineering organization, ensuring a high talent standard while adapting team structures to accommodate rapid growth and evolving priorities.

• Define and lead the architecture for mission-critical systems that facilitate data delivery and cross-chain communication, adhering to strict uptime and reliability standards.

• Establish engineering standards and practices that improve system design quality, operational rigor, and long-term maintainability across multiple teams.

• Ensure the infrastructure is resilient and fault-tolerant, capable of functioning in adversarial and financially sensitive conditions.

• Influence the technical direction of the company through hands-on contributions, design leadership, and alignment across different functions.

• Represent the engineering team in high-stakes internal and external situations, shaping both product and infrastructure strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully scaled an engineering organization of over 60 engineers during periods of growth and transformation, including restructuring teams and making swift hiring and performance management decisions.

• Managed production systems with uptime requirements of 99.99% or higher in adversarial or financially significant environments, with direct accountability for incident response and root cause analysis.

• Made significant architectural decisions under real-world constraints and improved engineering standards across teams beyond direct reporting lines.

• Exhibited profound technical fluency in distributed data systems, including understanding tradeoffs related to latency, reliability, and data delivery assurances in real-time or near-real-time settings.

• Possess clear, informed conviction in blockchain technology, backed by hands-on involvement with crypto ecosystems and the capability to articulate its significance.
