Virtual Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual tutoring services to students in Math and/or English Language Arts (ELA).

• Prepare for tutorial sessions by reviewing lesson plans and instructional materials in advance.

• Evaluate student progress and offer constructive feedback.

• Implement interactive and engaging teaching techniques to enhance the learning experience.

• Keep records of student progress and the outcomes of each session.

• Effectively communicate with students and parents through the online platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum requirement: currently enrolled in higher education or holding an associate degree.

• Strong dedication to supporting our students.

• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is advantageous.

• Solid knowledge in Math and/or English Language Arts (ELA).

• Proficient in utilizing virtual learning platforms, online collaboration tools, and digital teaching methods.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Training compensation of $18/hr.

• Compensation of $18 per hour for new tutors / $20 per hour for experienced tutors.

• $22 per hour for returning GO virtual tutors.

• Perfect attendance bonus of $200 for tutors who attend all training sessions and tutoring sessions.

• Reimbursement for fingerprint-based background checks.
