Virtual Physical Therapist – New York State Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Foster innovation and enthusiasm within the virtual learning space.

• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning as well as cultivate student relationships.

• Assess gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills.

• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to address individual student needs.

• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP goals.

• Collaborate with school or district personnel to share updates regarding student progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).

• Current PT license in New York State.

• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

• Experience with a reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform; strong technical setup (webcam, headset, stable internet, private workspace).

• Ability to effectively collaborate remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
