Virtual Occupational Therapist, New York State Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Foster innovation and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment

• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning and relationships

• Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities

• Design and implement treatment plans tailored to meet individual student needs

• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP objectives

• Collaborate with school or district personnel to share insights on student progress

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited institution

• Valid NY State Occupational Therapy license

• NBCOT certification required

• Experience with a reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform; must have a strong technical setup (including webcam, headset, stable internet, and private workspace)

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting with classroom teachers, case managers, and families

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States
