This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador, +5 more states.
• Professionally and courteously respond to a high volume of inbound patient calls.
• Conduct outbound calls for confirming appointments, rescheduling, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments while efficiently managing multiple provider calendars.
• Register new patients and update their demographics, insurance details, and medical records in the EMR.
• Accurately manage and maintain patient records in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments.
• Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and other insurance-related administrative tasks as required.
• Direct messages, prescription refill requests, and clinical inquiries to the appropriate provider or department.
• Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, imaging centers, and pharmacies to ensure seamless patient care.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Proficient in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• At least 2 years of experience in supporting a U.S.-based medical practice.
• Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist, Front Desk Coordinator, Medical Administrative Assistant, Patient Coordinator, or Medical Assistant.
• Experience managing high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls.
• Strong skills in appointment scheduling and calendar management.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is highly desirable.
• Experience with insurance verification, eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and referrals is strongly preferred.
• Background in Pain Management, Spine, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Sports Medicine, or similar specialties is preferred.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Full-time contractor position.
• 40 hours per week.
• Pay rate negotiable based on skillset and experience.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 4 PM CST.
