Virtual Care Registered Nurse, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver telephone triage and guidance to callers to aid them in making prompt medical decisions.

• Offer mental health assistance to callers, which may encompass suicide prevention, addiction support, and crisis intervention.

• Utilize clinical judgment alongside established protocols to determine the suitable disposition, ensuring timely and accurate care for patients.

• Efficiently complete confidential medical records in accordance with company documentation standards.

• Provide clear and concise information and direction during patient interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

• A minimum of 2 years of recent triage and/or clinical experience in areas such as Emergency Room, mental health/psychiatry, behavioral health, ICU, or acute care.

• Experience in delivering mental health, addiction, and crisis intervention care to patients is considered a significant advantage.

• Active licensure with the CRNNL or a willingness to obtain licensure through CRNNL.

• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.

• Comfortable utilizing technology, including telephone systems, software applications, and computer programs.
