Virtual Assistant – Video Editor, YouTube Channel Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Editing captivating, brand-aligned video content

• Adapting to various visual styles and brand voices

• Receiving and adhering to briefs from our internal team

• Delivering edits punctually while ensuring quality and consistency

• Editing full-length podcast episodes optimized for YouTube viewer retention and engagement

• Enhancing and refining audio and video quality

• Structuring episodes with effective pacing, storytelling, and purposeful cuts

• Creating SEO-friendly YouTube titles and descriptions

• Designing high-quality thumbnails that reflect brand identity

• Uploading and properly optimizing videos within YouTube Studio

• Producing short-form vertical clips for repurposing

• Labeling, organizing, and consistently delivering assets

• Optimizing content for YouTube search and local discoverability

• Ensuring branding consistency throughout videos

• Assisting in transforming content into short-form formats when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive video editing experience (both long-form and short-form)

• Proficient in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)

• Strong grasp of YouTube SEO (including titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails)

• Portfolio that highlights both short-form and long-form video projects

• Capability to edit with a focus on audience retention and watch time

• Excellent written English skills for titles, descriptions, and show notes

• Strong skills in audio cleanup and thumbnail design

• Ability to work with diverse content types, styles, and tones

• Competence in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

• Strong communication and time management abilities

• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision

• Regular access to a computer, editing software, and high-speed internet

• Preferred Experience with: Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent professional editor); After Effects (a plus); Canva or Photoshop (for thumbnails); YouTube Studio; Google Drive workflows
