This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Produce 8–12 video cuts per week (including UGC reformats, hook variations, paid social clips, podcast snippets, and founder-led content).
• Transition briefs to version 1 in less than 48 hours, achieving an 80%+ success rate on producer version 1 evaluations.
• Prioritize execution over improvisation.
• Transform a single UGC submission into 8–12 variations featuring different hooks, music, and perspectives.
• Maintain assets that are tagged, organized, and easily retrievable — allowing the next editor to locate any asset within 60 seconds.
• Ensure no content is delivered that requires basic corrections.
• Provide Loom walkthroughs, written notes, and clear timestamps in feedback discussions.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience editing paid social or short-form video, with at least 2 years dedicated to a DTC brand or a creator focused on paid social.
• Portfolio must include paid social clips with documented performance metrics — showcasing successful content that scaled effectively.
• Established record of working asynchronously with U.S. teams.
• Expertise in Premiere or Final Cut; intermediate proficiency in After Effects or higher.
• Ability to execute a brief without needing multiple rounds of clarification.
• Conduct self-quality assurance to ensure the producer does not need to revise your work.
• Craft-focused, with a preference for remote work — not the other way around.
