Video Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit and produce both short- and long-form videos for clients, encompassing social media videos, advertisements, webinars, interviews, testimonials, and educational materials.

• Collaborate with clients to capture high-quality live footage remotely by creating setup guides, conducting remote recording sessions, and directing as necessary.

• Transform raw footage and existing assets into polished, on-brand videos.

• Incorporate motion graphics, lower thirds, kinetic text, and branded elements to enhance video content.

• Manage audio cleanup, color correction, captioning/subtitles, and other essential post-production tasks.

• Edit and prepare webinar content for client use.

• Design or assist in the creation of thumbnails and supporting graphics.

• Oversee multiple video projects and deadlines across various client accounts concurrently.

• Participate in client calls to showcase work, obtain direction, and guide recording as needed.

• Efficiently integrate feedback through revision cycles.

• Maintain organized and well-labeled project files and asset libraries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term position.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and production.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, including comfort in directing and coaching clients during video calls.

• Strong academic credentials with an impressive General Weighted Average.

• Degree in Film, Multimedia Arts, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• A robust portfolio or reel showcasing a diverse range of short- and long-form videos.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve; familiarity with CapCut and Descript is an advantage.

• Skills in motion graphics using After Effects (kinetic text, lower thirds, animated elements).

• Solid understanding of post-production fundamentals, including audio cleanup, color correction, and captioning/subtitles.

• Familiarity with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Canva) for creating thumbnails and supporting graphics is a plus.

• Ability to guide clients in capturing high-quality footage remotely through clear setup guides and remote direction.

• Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and maintaining on-brand visual consistency.

• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines across several accounts.

• Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Previous experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment is a significant advantage.
