This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos including reels, social media advertisements, promotional content, and explainer videos.

• Incorporate compelling hooks, dynamic pacing, and a robust narrative flow to enhance viewer engagement.

• Adapt editing techniques to align with platform-specific norms (e.g., rapid cuts for Instagram, attention-grabbing intros for YouTube Shorts).

• Improve video quality through careful color grading, text animations, transitions, and immersive audio design.

• Collaborate effectively with writers, designers, and creative leaders to transform scripts and visual ideas into reality.

• Keep abreast of the latest editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio trends to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.

• Evaluate ad performance metrics and utilize insights to enhance edits for improved click-through and completion rates.

• Edit videos in the specified languages (English and Malayalam), ensuring accuracy in language, cultural relevance, and impactful storytelling for the intended audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in video editing focused on social media or digital content.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.

• Strong portfolio showcasing short-form content (reels, ads, promotions).

• Solid understanding of social media platform algorithms and engagement strategies.

• Strong storytelling abilities, visual creativity, and skills in sound design.

• Language proficiency: Capable of editing in English and Malayalam, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and linguistic expertise.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Malayalam for internal communication and review.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
