Video Editor – Long Form YouTube Videos

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• The primary focus of this position is to edit long-form videos for YouTube.

• You will be responsible for editing talking head content that incorporates B-roll, text overlays, motion graphics, screen recordings, multi-camera setups, and reaction-style edits across various client channels.

• Your role involves aligning with the client's voice, energy, and target audience while maintaining a pacing that keeps viewers engaged for 10 to 25 minutes.

• The comprehensive scope of your post-production responsibilities includes sound design and mixing, consistent color grading, motion graphics and text animations, and possibly creating YouTube Shorts and Meta video advertisements.

• You will edit at least 12 videos each month, collaborating with the founder, account managers, and clients for feedback and revisions.

• You are an editor who is passionate about YouTube and understands what sets the top channels apart from the rest.

• You have prior experience editing YouTube content, beyond just personal projects.

• You have worked on channels that cater to real audiences and you recognize what successful content looks like from the editor's perspective.

• You are quick and efficient without compromising quality.

• A workload of 12 to 16 videos per month is the standard, which necessitates effective systems, discipline, and the capacity to make strong creative decisions swiftly.

• Your editing toolkit is well-prepared, and you execute your tasks effectively.

• You are an end-to-end editor, meaning you manage the entire post-production process independently.

• You are proficient in Premiere Pro, which is the main editing software we use.

• You take charge of your own schedule, identify potential issues before they arise, and maintain proactive communication.
