Video Editor – Long form YouTube videos

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• The essence of this position involves editing long-form videos for YouTube. That is the primary responsibility.

• You will be responsible for editing talking head segments, incorporating B-roll, text overlays, motion graphics, screen recordings, multi-camera setups, and reaction-style edits across various client channels.

• Each client has a unique voice, energy, and audience, and your task is to align with these elements while maintaining a pacing that keeps viewers engaged for 10 to 25 minutes.

• The complete range of your responsibilities in post-production includes sound design and mixing, color grading, motion graphics, and text animations.

• Editing YouTube Shorts and Meta video advertisements is considered a valuable bonus and a desirable skill.

• You will be editing a minimum of 12 videos each month, with the potential to work on up to 16.

• You will receive feedback from the founder, account managers, and occasionally directly from clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are an editor who is deeply engaged with YouTube and understands what makes the best channels distinct from others.

• You have prior experience editing YouTube content, not limited to personal projects.

• You are efficient without compromising quality.

• Your editing toolkit is well-prepared, and you execute your tasks effectively.

• You are an end-to-end editor, managing the entire post-production process: editing, sound, color, graphics, and export.

• You work primarily in Premiere Pro, which is our main editing software. If you are more skilled in another editing platform and are open to transitioning, we can discuss it, but proficiency in Premiere Pro is highly preferred.

• You take charge of your own schedule, identify potential issues before they escalate, and communicate proactively so that no one needs to chase you for a status update or be uncertain about the progress of an edit.

• You are involved in the online education, coaching, and information product sectors.
