Video Editor, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with a team of editors, designers, and Associate Creative Directors (ACDs) to execute all video editing deliverables for your designated pod and assigned accounts.

• Partner with our Creative and Marketing teams to develop captivating and engaging designs/content across multiple marketing platforms.

• Produce compelling, performance-oriented video content to bolster our creative and marketing initiatives.

• Work alongside our Production and Strategy teams to create both original and iterative advertisements for various marketing channels, including Instagram, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Continuously refine output by leveraging insights from performance metrics, external benchmarks, and trending topics across social media platforms.

• Adhere to departmental workflows and best practices for project management, organization of project files, file naming conventions, etc.

• Utilize AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes.

• Make full use of Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it pertains to your department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of video editing experience (motion graphics experience is a plus).

• Proficient in a variety of video editing tools and software (including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.).

• Proven video editing skills with a robust portfolio showcasing work examples.

• Strong understanding of digital trends and editing principles.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards several milestones on various projects concurrently.

• Creative and innovative mindset.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
