Video Editor – Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop both short-form and long-form videos based on creative briefs and storyboards for various platforms including social media, advertisements, and digital campaigns (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, etc.)

• Design accompanying graphic elements such as thumbnails, overlays, end cards, and captions

• Utilize effective pacing, storytelling techniques, and visual hierarchy in video production

• Adhere to brand guidelines and accurately implement feedback received

• Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate closely with creative strategists, producers, and team leaders

• Maintain organization of project files and ensure clean, scalable workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in professional video editing software

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects (basic motion and text animation) is an advantage

• Strong foundation in design principles including typography, layout, and composition

• Capability to enhance edits through color correction and audio enhancement techniques, such as background music and sound effects

• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (Runway, Pika, Midjourney, etc.)

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
