This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Collaborate with content managers, writers, designers, and videographers to create video concepts, editing strategies, and preliminary storyboards.
• Edit both short-form and long-form videos for advertisements, promotions, tutorials, and brand narratives using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
• Produce platform-specific edits and variations for Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, and other channels—tailoring for format, duration, engaging hooks, and calls to action.
• Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, tone, and visual aesthetics throughout all video content.
• Incorporate graphics, subtitles, basic motion design, and simple animations to enhance clarity and viewer engagement.
• Conduct basic color correction and audio enhancement, including music, sound effects, and voice balancing, while adhering to licensing and brand guidelines.
• Optimize video files, thumbnails, titles, and metadata for search engine optimization and discoverability.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, creator best practices, and competitor content, while proposing new formats or creative experiments.
• Organize and manage video assets, project files, and exports to facilitate efficient collaboration and reuse.
• Integrate feedback from stakeholders and partner teams while ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently, communicating progress and risks clearly.
• Collaborate with internal and external videographers or agencies as necessary, providing clear briefs and editing requirements.
• Work regular hours that significantly overlap with 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Pacific Time and participate in scheduled meetings.
• Assist with other video and content-related tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in film production or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing complete edits for digital platforms, particularly in advertising.
• Experience editing content from diverse sources, including product footage, lifestyle shoots, user-generated content, and screen recordings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with intermediate experience in 2D motion graphics.
• Solid understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, composition, and motion design principles.
• Familiarity with sound design basics, including sound effects, dialogue cleanup, music selection, and audio mixing.
• Experience customizing content for social media and marketplace platforms, particularly in short-form formats.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a distributed, multicultural team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for staying updated with video trends, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with product, e-commerce, or B2B video campaigns is advantageous.
• Professional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Availability to work between 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time
• Reliable internet access and a private remote workstation.
