Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Edit talking head videos, as well as vertical, horizontal, and event/reportage content.

• Work with footage captured from live events, video shoots, and travel experiences.

• Manage multi-camera setups, synchronize cameras, and align external audio.

• Enhance and mix audio, select appropriate background music, and create sound effects.

• Produce basic to intermediate motion graphics, including titles, lower thirds, and animated graphics.

• Search for and curate footage from stock video platforms.

• Integrate AI-generated content seamlessly into live-action footage.

• Independently oversee projects from the initial brief to the final export.

⛳️ Requirements

• Commercial video editing experience with a portfolio showcasing a strong middle level of expertise.

• Advanced skills in DaVinci Resolve.

• Capability to edit both fast-paced dynamic videos and calm, premium/luxury aesthetic content.

• Proficiency in multi-camera editing and synchronizing external sound.

• Experience in color grading and matching footage from various cameras, including Sony and Panasonic.

• Thorough understanding of DaVinci Resolve node structures, color spaces, and scopes.

• Familiarity with Sony S-Log, Panasonic V-Log, and DJI D-Log, including color space transformation, exposure alignment, white balance, contrast, and natural skin tones.

• Excellent sense of rhythm, strong visual aesthetics, and high attention to detail.

• Willingness to accept feedback, respect deadlines, and adapt while exploring new AI tools and technologies.

• Fluent in Russian and possess Upper-Intermediate English or higher proficiency.

• Powerful PC/Mac capable of handling 4K video editing smoothly.

• Sufficient local storage: 30–100 GB for standard projects and 500 GB–1 TB for larger projects.

• Fast and reliable high-speed Internet connection.

• Uninterrupted access to Google Drive, Higgsfield, and other global services; reliable VPN if necessary.

• A mandatory portfolio that includes talking-head videos as well as event/travel/reportage videos.

• Portfolio must showcase both high-energy dynamic edits and subtle atmospheric premium/luxury aesthetics.
