This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos, including reels, social media ads, promotional content, and explanatory materials.

• Incorporate engaging hooks, dynamic pacing, and a compelling narrative rhythm to enhance viewer retention.

• Adapt editing styles to align with platform-specific behaviors (e.g., quick cuts for Instagram, attention-grabbing openings for YouTube Shorts).

• Improve video quality through careful color grading, text animations, transitions, and immersive sound design.

• Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and creative leads to bring scripts and visual concepts to fruition.

• Keep abreast of the latest editing trends, meme formats, cultural references, and audio trends to maintain content relevance and freshness.

• Assess ad performance metrics and apply insights to refine edits for enhanced click-through and completion rates.

• Edit videos in the required language **Kannada**, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and compelling storytelling for the intended audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.

• A strong portfolio showcasing short-form content (reels, ads, promos).

• Solid understanding of social platform algorithms and engagement strategies.

• Strong storytelling instincts, visual creativity, and expertise in sound design.

• **Language proficiency:** Capability to edit in **Kannada** with cultural sensitivity and linguistic expertise.

• Proficiency in **English & Kannada** (both written and spoken) for internal communication and review.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
