Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit and structure YouTube content from raw footage, ensuring that the final product meets broadcast-quality standards.

• Develop 2D animations that include callouts, custom design animations, text animations, color grading, lower thirds, and transitions, all tailored to the unique design language of each video.

• Oversee the formatting and editing of Shorts as necessary.

• Acquire and implement AM Visuals brand guidelines along with client brand guidelines prior to commencing each project.

• Gain a thorough understanding of project briefs, pose proactive inquiries, and engage in critical thinking regarding editorial choices.

• Operate within the 10AM to 6PM Sydney timezone overlap.

• Get acquainted with our tools and workflows, including systems like ClickUp and Google Drive.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in video editing and post-production.

• A robust portfolio showcasing your expertise in YouTube content editing, motion graphics, and 2D animation.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut.

• A solid grasp of design tools and fundamental motion graphics principles.

• Contextual knowledge of English, encompassing nuances, slang, and cultural references specific to Australian English.

• Capability to listen to scripts and dialogues, extracting narrative intent, tone, and audience relevance effectively.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and critically evaluate editorial decisions.

• Comfort in integrating AI tools such as Claude into your editing workflow.

• Capacity to collaborate with fellow editors and accept feedback asynchronously.
