This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Edit video materials across various formats such as long-form, short-form, social videos, brand films, explainer videos, motion graphic sequences, and event/conference content.
• Oversee the entire post-production process from ingest and assembly to color grading, sound mixing, and final export.
• Utilize motion graphics and basic visual effects to enhance storytelling and adhere to creative direction.
• Ensure that all deliverables are exported according to the specific technical requirements for each platform (web, broadcast, social, OOH digital, etc.).
• Keep project files, asset libraries, and version control organized throughout each project's lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and Strategists to grasp the brief, tone, and target audience for each project.
• Actively participate in creative brainstorming and post-production planning sessions.
• Accurately interpret creative direction and apply it consistently across edits.
• Offer constructive feedback on pacing, storytelling, music selection, and visual style.
• Efficiently integrate client and internal feedback throughout multiple rounds of revisions.
• Communicate timelines, technical constraints, and production status clearly with Producers and Account teams.
• Maintain a solutions-oriented mindset when addressing scope changes or tight deadlines.
• Ensure all video content adheres to Gravity Global's standards for quality, brand accuracy, and compliance.
• Stay informed about platform specifications, delivery requirements, and evolving best practices in digital and social media.
• Perform thorough self-quality assurance before submitting edits for review.
• Identify opportunities to enhance post-production workflows, templates, and asset management processes.
• Remain knowledgeable about emerging tools, techniques, and formats in video production and motion design.
• Assist in evaluating and adopting new software, AI-assisted editing tools, and efficiency enhancements within the production practice.
• 3–5 years of professional video editing experience in an agency, production company, or in-house creative setting.
• A proven portfolio showcasing a variety of video formats—from social-first short-form content to longer brand or campaign films.
• Experience editing for various platforms including social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube), web, and broadcast or digital OOH.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation integrated into editorial projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro, along with working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and compositing.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high personal quality standards.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.
• Capacity to accept clear, constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
