Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Edit video content in various formats, such as reels, highlights from events, podcasts, interviews, YouTube videos, social media material, trailers, teasers, and promotional content.

• Structure each video by selecting impactful moments, constructing narrative flow, managing pacing, emotional rhythm, and delivering a clear final story.

• Utilize music, sound design, titles, b-roll, graphics, logos, subtitles, and visual elements to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.

• Modify content for diverse platforms and formats, including horizontal, vertical, square, short-form, and long-form versions.

• Collaborate with producers, camera operators, marketing, and design teams to create a unified final product.

• Assist in establishing the Daos Production editing style, which includes references, templates, editing guidelines, and production workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, along with a solid understanding of After Effects.

• Good grasp of color correction, sound design, titles, motion graphics, and efficient editing workflows.

• Experience with a diverse range of formats, such as reels, highlights, interviews, podcasts, event videos, YouTube content, and social media assets.

• Ability to manage substantial amounts of raw footage, swiftly pinpoint strong moments, construct compelling narratives, and adjust content across various formats.

• Strong visual acumen, meticulous attention to detail, accountability for deadlines, and the capacity to accept feedback and implement changes promptly.

• Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage.
