Vice President, Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation and execution of AI-driven solutions within the pharmaceutical sector to enhance patient care through personalized omnichannel communications.

• Facilitate the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into software development processes.

• Supervise the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.

• Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to design and direct engineering, API, ML, DevOps, and reporting teams.

• Advocate for Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices to ensure efficient, high-quality product delivery and ongoing enhancement.

• Manage and refine the technology stack, encompassing Snowflake, Terraform, dbt, Docker, Azure SQL, Synapse, Azure, Python, SQL, Spark, and Azure container apps.

• Guarantee data accuracy, scalability, and efficiency in data pipelines and AI models.

• Lead the exploration and adoption of emerging AI and ML technologies.

• Create and sustain strategic roadmaps for AI-driven data engineering projects aligned with business objectives.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices concerning data security and privacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 8 years of experience in the offered position or a closely related role, including Data Consultant, Data Director, or similar experience.

• 6 years of expertise in data engineering, ML, Snowflake, Terraform, Docker, Python, SQL, and Azure.

• Availability for 40 hours per week.
