VFX, 2D Animator

📋 Description

• Develop and animate 2D game assets, such as characters, user interface components, and environmental elements, emphasizing quality and consistency.

• Design and execute visual effects (VFX) including particle systems, screen effects, and dynamic enhancements that elevate gameplay experiences.

• Work closely with our two Game Artists and three Unity developers to seamlessly integrate your creations into the game engine while collaboratively addressing technical challenges.

• Research and evaluate art references for new games and features; develop mockups and style explorations to steer the visual direction.

• Rapidly iterate on animations and effects informed by playtesting feedback and insights from the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English to facilitate effective communication with the team.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mobile game development.

• A robust portfolio that highlights 2D animation and VFX projects, preferably within the gaming industry.

• Technical proficiency in optimizing assets and workflows.

• Experience with Unity or a willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with the platform.

• Strong artistic skills and a sharp eye for detail.

• A passion for game feel: understanding what makes interactions engaging and visually satisfying.

• Adaptability to modify your style to align with various game aesthetics.

• A collaborative mindset, with a focus on giving and receiving constructive feedback.

• A commitment to pushing artistic boundaries, enhancing your craft daily, and embracing new technologies such as generative AI.
