This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Art Director and Team Leads to implement the visual vision of a third-person sci-fi action game utilizing a sophisticated Unreal engine pipeline.
• Develop high-quality hard surface assets, including props and environmental set pieces.
• Create clean, efficient models and materials tailored for real-time workflows and optimized for gameplay requirements.
• Rapidly iterate on concepts, prototypes, and final assets in partnership with design, animation, and technical art teams.
• Consistently produce polished, production-ready work that elevates the overall quality standard.
• 4+ years of professional experience in the industry.
• Proven ability to generate high-quality 3D environment art assets for video games.
• Strong grasp of modeling, UV mapping, baking, and PBR texturing workflows.
• Experience in the creation and execution of modular environment art within a game engine.
• Proficient in using Substance tools (Painter and/or Designer).
• Background in working collaboratively with Art Directors and cross-disciplinary teams.
