Veterans Disability Contract Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine and evaluate Veterans disability claims files within the VA system

• Support the transition of legacy client files into modern workflows and systems

• Create and document legal strategies that align with the firm's standards

• Recognize evidentiary deficiencies and suggest subsequent steps for claim development

• Work collaboratively with internal legal team members to ensure strategic alignment

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Capability to independently review files and devise sound legal strategies

• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate efficiently in a high-volume environment

• Proven experience in managing VA disability claims and appeals (preferred)

• In-depth knowledge of VA regulations, procedures, and evidentiary requirements (preferred)

• Familiarity with case management systems and high-volume file transitions (preferred)

• Experience in a remote, contract-based legal setting (preferred)
