This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Propel sales within the designated territory to optimize established business goals.
• Interact with customers both in person and through virtual channels.
• Formulate and execute business and territory call strategies along with live/virtual engagement plans.
• Establish rapport and foster relationships with clients in both live and virtual settings.
• Utilize digital tools along with internal reports and analytics to pinpoint and capitalize on strategic business opportunities.
• Compliantly leverage authorized product and disease-state information, along with patient resources.
• Recognize obstacles and motivators across Public Health, Private Market, Retail, and other pertinent channels.
• Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and various cross-functional teams to resolve customer inquiries and further Pfizer's objectives.
• Fulfill administrative duties, including documenting customer interactions, submitting expenses, and responding to requests from sales leadership and internal partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree accompanied by 6+ years of experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 2 years in professional sales/promotional activities, small business ownership or entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service/account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military service.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
• Must live within the defined territory boundaries.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or similar impaired-driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify a candidate from consideration.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical-related marketing is preferred.
• Previous experience with vaccines is highly preferred.
• Proven sales or marketing success, territory management capabilities, effective communication skills, teamwork, leadership potential, and accountability are essential.
• Familiarity with the Vaccines therapeutic area and relevant products is preferred.
• Knowledge of the customers and markets within the specified territory is advantageous.
• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer and have permanent U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
