This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across various customers and channels.
• Introduce new products and formulate strategies to manage business relationships.
• Understand and secure access to formularies.
• Engage in product promotion within the designated geography.
• Drive sales in the assigned territory to achieve approved business objectives.
• Interact with customers both face-to-face and virtually.
• Develop and execute business and territory call plans along with live/virtual engagement strategies.
• Establish rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual settings.
• Utilize internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
• Compliantly leverage approved disease-state information, product knowledge, and patient resources.
• Analyze market barriers and drivers across Public Health, Private Market, Retail, and other business channels.
• Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management, and other cross-functional colleagues.
• Fulfill administrative requirements, including customer-call entry, expense submissions, and responses to internal requests.
• Bachelor’s Degree; alternatively, an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional sales/promotional activities, small business ownership or entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service/account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military experience.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies the candidate.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical-related marketing.
• Prior experience with vaccines is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of success in sales or marketing.
• Strong skills in territory management.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills, and accountability.
• Preferred: Experience with the Vaccines therapeutic area and products.
• Preferred: Knowledge of posted-territory customers and markets.
• Preferred: Residency within the territory boundaries.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
