• Conceptualize and design mobile application experiences within the Therabody app, encompassing onboarding, device pairing, guided routines, progress tracking, and personalization features.
• Develop essential UX deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs tailored for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Convert product requirements and user insights into clean, functional designs that adhere to best practices in mobile UX.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to analyze user behavior, pinpoint friction points, and design enhancements that foster engagement and retention objectives.
• Operate within Therabody’s brand guidelines and mobile design system to maintain visual consistency throughout the app experience.
• Work alongside mobile engineers to ensure seamless design handoffs and quality assurance in implementations, considering platform-specific behaviors and limitations.
• Create and deliver design variants for A/B testing and experiments aimed at enhancing key app metrics.
• Engage in user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to validate design concepts and iterate based on insights.
• Over 5 years of UX/UI design experience with a strong emphasis on native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)—experience with connected hardware or health and wellness applications is advantageous.
• A portfolio showcasing well-crafted mobile app projects: onboarding flows, feature designs, navigation patterns, and other fundamental app experiences.
• A strong passion for the health and wellness sector and a desire to leverage technology to positively impact lives.
• Proficient in Figma, with experience in established design systems and component libraries; hands-on experience with AI-driven design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Galileo, Relume, or similar) for efficient concepting and iteration.
• Solid knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design principles.
• Experience in user research and usability testing, including rapid methods to validate concepts.
• Familiarity with mobile-specific interaction patterns, gesture-based navigation, accessibility considerations, and performance limitations.
• Experience in designing for connected device ecosystems (Bluetooth pairing, device controls, real-time data visualization) is a significant advantage.
