UX Engineer – Health Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create user interfaces and user flows (UX/UI) for web applications within the healthcare sector, progressing from concept to prototype using Figma.

• Develop your own interfaces utilizing JavaScript, ReactJS, and CSS, focusing on visual aesthetics, usability, and accessibility.

• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to enhance the design system and ensure the product's visual uniformity.

• Gradually expand your skills into additional development areas, including API integrations and testing, and as you advance, backend development with Python.

• Contribute to product decisions by providing insights from the user's experience perspective.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC).

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in UX/UI design, supported by a portfolio showcasing digital products, design systems, and web interfaces.

• Practical front-end development experience in JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, with code deployed in a production environment.

• A genuine ambition to pursue a career in software development.

• Proficient in Figma or similar design tools.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in English for communication with an international team; comfortable with everyday technical discussions.

• Knowledge of DICOM or experience with medical imaging is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with Python and backend development is a plus.

• Experience with cloud applications, ideally AWS, is an additional benefit.

• Background in health-tech products or intricate data interfaces is advantageous.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in development is a plus.

• Previous involvement with international companies or projects conducted in English is a plus.
