Web Developer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop web applications that are user-friendly and accessible.

• Implement application programming interfaces (APIs), front-end logic, and user interface enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with Section 508 and federal accessibility standards.

• Debug, test, and optimize web components for improved performance.

• Collaborate effectively with UI/UX and software engineering teams.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance software development, testing, troubleshooting, and delivery processes.

• Acquire and apply knowledge of emerging AI technologies, including conversational AI and chatbot functionalities, to improve supported websites.

• Contribute to the operational excellence and continuous improvement of Snowbird.

• Assist with documentation, reporting, and communication across teams.

• Engage in internal training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Active Security+ certification is required.

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong skills in communication and collaboration.

• Experience in a federal contracting environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and schedules.

• Proven ability to learn and implement emerging technologies in software development scenarios.

• Knowledge of Docker, SiteCore, GitLab, C#/.NET, JavaScript, SQL, IIS, ASP.NET, and OWASP Top 10.

• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and/or familiarity with generative AI or chatbot technologies.
