Utilization Management Nurse Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Leverage clinical expertise and skills in a collaborative approach to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate healthcare services and benefits.

• Collect clinical information and apply relevant criteria or guidelines to make coverage determinations.

• Engage with providers and other stakeholders to facilitate care and treatment.

• Recognize members for referral opportunities and integrate with additional products, services, and/or programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an adult acute care or critical care environment.

• Active, current, and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of residence.

• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and during evening hours.
