US-Certified Registered Nurse, Healthcare Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Contact patients to communicate test results promptly and professionally.

• Generate and manage referrals for specialized healthcare providers.

• Arrange laboratory tests and imaging while coordinating and scheduling patient appointments.

• Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring precision and compliance.

• Guarantee compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

• Utilize communication platforms such as Avaya soft phone to engage with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Perform additional tasks as required to assist the healthcare team.

⛳️ Requirements

• RN License (You MUST be US certified)

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant

• Experience or specialization in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical environments is preferred

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (At least C1 level)

• Solid grasp of medical terminology and practices

• Proficient in EHR/EMR systems with the ability to troubleshoot common technical problems

• Awareness of healthcare privacy regulations

• Strong interpersonal abilities

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail

• Tech-savvy and familiar with modern technologies, including desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP

• Willingness to work during graveyard shifts
