Trucking Safety – Insurance Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Request, evaluate, and oversee Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to guarantee adequate coverage and adherence to compliance standards.

• Utilize strong verbal and written communication abilities to follow up with Owner Operators and collect necessary insurance documentation promptly.

• Acquire and monitor loss runs reports from insurance carriers and brokers.

• Keep track of insurance policy renewals, expiration dates, and updates to coverage.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and organized digital insurance files and documentation systems.

• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal standards.

• Engage professionally with insurance brokers, underwriters, and external partners.

• Consistently follow up on pending documentation and necessary updates.

• Monitor compliance deadlines to prevent any lapses in coverage.

• Assist internal risk management processes by maintaining reliable and up-to-date records.

• Aid in the preparation of documentation for audits and internal assessments.

• Experience in handling insurance documentation, COIs, policy tracking, or loss runs.

• Strong administrative and document management capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies.

• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple ongoing requests effectively.

• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.

• Ability to establish structure and maintain organized tracking systems.
