This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical and/or sales training that encompasses installation, controls, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, products, and foundational applications.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create or refine educational curriculum.
• Set up training facilities and labs prior to the commencement of training sessions.
• Manage the inventory of training materials at your designated location.
• Uphold training facility standards, including the upkeep of equipment and tools.
• Assist in the development of product and technical training programs, along with related PowerPoint presentations, videos, manuals, and other resources.
• Facilitate communication, promotion, coordination, and various support tasks for product and technical training.
• Serve as a liaison among sales, product marketing, service, and training departments.
• Participate in educational or industry conferences and represent the organization at these events.
• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities that support ongoing business objectives.
• Conduct audits of technical trainers at levels 1 and 2, as well as experienced independent trainers.
• Mentor and evaluate the work of junior professionals.
• Report directly to the Manager of Technical Training.
• Demonstrated experience in training within the technical service sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC products and controls.
• Familiarity with management systems is advantageous.
• Proven history of success in service and customer service roles.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Capacity to engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Skill in effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from management, students, and customers.
• Ability to interact productively with both internal and external customers and cultivate long-lasting business relationships.
• Competence in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical business publications, professional journals, and technical procedures.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and course curricula.
• Ability to foresee and address practical problems and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong customer focus, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking independent initiative.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain a strong work ethic, and demonstrate integrity.
• Over 8 years of experience in HVAC installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance.
• More than 8 years of facilitating product and technical training.
• Possession of an HVAC degree or certification.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
