Travel Counselor – German, English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and organize travel arrangements for corporate clients, including both individual travelers and groups.

• Perform analysis and research on travel alternatives, proactively identifying traveler requirements to promote additional services.

• Coordinate and book domestic and international business travel, handling various complexities for air, road, rail, and accommodations.

• Utilize multiple Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus.

• Ensure adherence to clients’ established travel policies, service provider guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Employ effective telephone service techniques and respond to special customer requests.

• Work collaboratively within your team to coach, mentor, and offer constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and/or Galileo).

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal).

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel sector (experience in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations).

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to swiftly and independently resolve customer issues, including liaising with suppliers.

• Team-oriented with a willingness to accept feedback.
